For the Bride

Heather Wilson

Heather and I have been friends for over 30 years, and I think the world of her.  She has been there for me in good and bad times.  I can always count on her to provide good advice and/or constructive feedback, even when I don’t want to hear the truth.  We’ve been best friends since childhood and we grew up on the same street playing house with our pocketbooks, skating together, playing rope, and the list could go on and on. We have created so many memories and continued to build our relationship from then to now.  She’s absolutely fantastic and I’m extremely honored to have her in our wedding.

Monica Hartsfield

As we were growing up, my sister was someone that I looked up to and admired.  I always tried to follow in her footsteps because she was intelligent, stylish, fun and organized.   The organization part is something I struggled with, and I’m still working on.  Monica could never have things to herself because I always wanted to use her stuff, wear her clothes, shoes, and jewelry.  Mon tried to do everything possible to keep me out of her stuff, but to no avail.  Mon saw it as I was trying to take her items, but that was not it, I really did want to be like my big sister.  As time went on, we made a promise to each other that no matter what happened between us that we would always be in each others  weddings, and there would be nothing that would stop us from keeping this promise.  I love Monica with all my heart and I’m glad she will stand with me during this important milestone in my life.

For the Groom

Toni Williams
Kairi and Toni became friends in the sixth grade while attending Ellwood Elementary School in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. They have remained best friends. They continued their friendship as they lived across the street from one another and even as they pursued their colleges education hundreds of miles away from each other. Kairi is honored to have Toni by his side as he walks into a new chapter in his life.

Jermel Williams
Jermel and Kairi met though Jermel’s wonderful wife Toni. Jermel has become close to Kairi after proving he was an appropriate match for Toni. For Kairi, Jermel has served as an adviser in life, love and the pursuit of happiness. He is always available to show Kairi the light in any situation. Without Jermel, Kairi might not be getting married as he constantly reminds Kairi of the basis of life as a common man!

Julien Purnell
I have learned that family is important and Julien continues to help me throughout my life as a helping hand and sometimes just as a good laugh. I am excited to share this day with him and look forward to having him helping me once again.
